There are always challenges when directing a classic like 6 Characters in Search of an Author. Even after study and development there are challenges that appear as time continues and rehearsals begin. The vision may become blurred and the focus may be lost. But, the goal is toe continue forward. Like the labyrinth of life, the challenges are like doors towards the future and if a window appears then break through and continue forward. The goal is to search through the challenges and continue towards the worlds before you. The practice of the creative process is not to find the goal, but to continue the journey. This journey is sometimes difficult, but with the strength of the whole self, one can continue forward. (And with a great group of actors such that I have it is a guarantee.)
